Synopsis

John Dillinger has just escaped prison. Before embarking on his next crime spree, he takes a detour to his family home in Mooresville, Indiana. The FBI is hot on his heels. The town is buzzing with news of the celebrity hideout. The women in his life have no choice but to pamper him, fuss over him, and clean up his messes. For Public Enemy Number One, a weekend trip home might seem a lark, but the consequences for his family are life and death.

Playwright

Elise Forier Edie is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter, with over twenty plays and musicals produced professionally. Her most well-known work, The Pink Unicorn, has been in continuous production since its award-winning debut at the 2013 United Solo Theatre Festival in New York. The show went on to have two Off-Broadway runs, starring Tony-award winner Alice Ripley and was later developed into a film. Elise has had her work produced at theatres across North America, in far-flung places like Saskatoon and Jonesboro, Arkansas, and in celebrated venues in New York, New England, and Los Angeles. Her plays have been developed at the National Playwrights Conference, Seven Devils, NYU, Indiana Repertory, CAP 21, and many more. She lives in Spokane with her husband and dogs, where she teaches playwriting and directing at Whitworth University.
